Big Wins at Access All Areas Awards

legacy award

We are thrilled to share some fantastic news from last night’s Access All Areas Awards at Indigo at The O2 in London!

Our iconic venue, King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut, was honoured with the Legacy Award, recognising its extraordinary contributions to the live music industry over the past three and a half decades.

Since opening its doors in 1990, King Tut’s has become a cornerstone of Scotland’s music scene, hosting unforgettable gigs by global stars and nurturing the next generation of talent. Winning the Legacy Award is a testament to its enduring cultural impact and its role as a beacon for grassroots music in the UK.

In addition to this incredible win, our Play Our Part sustainability campaign received a high commendation in the Best Sustainable Initiative category. This acknowledgement highlights our commitment to reducing the environmental impact of live events and inspiring positive change across the industry. From promoting low carbon travel to championing vintage festival fashion and plant-based dining, Play Our Part continues to lead the way in creating more sustainable festivals and concerts.

We are immensely proud of these achievements, which reflect the passion, creativity, and dedication of our teams. A huge thank you to everyone who has supported us on this journey, from the fans and artists who bring King Tut’s to life to the festivalgoers embracing sustainability with us.

Here’s to celebrating our past, shaping the future, and continuing to set the stage for innovation and excellence in live music!

Stay tuned for more updates as we continue celebrating King Tut's 35th birthday in 2025 and driving forward our Play Our Part initiatives.
