SHUTTLE BUS

The Official Glasgow Summer Sessions shuttle bus service gets you to and from the event and Glasgow City Centre, and tickets are available to purchase from here. The shuttle bus is the most direct way to travel to and from the event, getting you closer and back into the city faster than any other public transport. The service operates between GLASGOW CITY CENTRE and the concert venue at BELLAHOUSTON PARK on both Friday 26th (Noel Gallagher) & Saturday 27th August (Biffy Clyro). Tickets are only £5 for a return journey and £3 for a single journey.

There will also be an option to purchase single journey tickets onsite at the event from the Big Green Coach Tent.

Please be aware that there will be a priority queue on both nights for customers with pre-bought tickets. Also, please note that if you do not purchase tickets in advance, there may be a delay in you getting on the bus after the concert.

Buses operate from BELLAHOUSTON PARK back to RENFIELD STREET/CENTRAL STATION in the City centre between:

COACHES

Big Green Coach is the official and exclusive ticket and coach partner to Glasgow Summer Sessions and will be picking up and returning from locations across Scotland including Aberdeen, Ayr, Dumfries, Dundee, Dunfermline, Edinburgh, Falkirk, Glenrothes, Inverness, Kilmarnock, Kirkcaldy, Livingston, Perth and Stirling. All coaches arrive before the music starts and depart after the music has ended.

The earlier you book the cheaper the coach seats will be so please don’t delay.

PARKING

Parking will be available at Albion Car Park, on a first come, first served basis. The car park is a short walk from Bellahouston Park.

There will be no other parking available around the site. Towing enforcements will be in place so please pay attention to any notices before leaving your car.

DROP-OFF AND PICK-UP

There will be a pick up and drop off area operating from the Albion Car Park across from Ibrox Stadium. Edmiston Dr, Glasgow G51 2XD.

Gig-goers should be aware that Dumbreck Road (between Mosspark Boulevard and Paisley Road West) will be closed to traffic between 10:30pm and midnight on both nights.

ACCESSIBLE VIEWING PLATFORM PARKING

This is located on Mosspark Boulevard. A parking space is available for customers who have registered to use the accessible viewing platform – vehicles can also drop off and pick up here. If arriving by taxi, please use this as the drop-off location area rather than the general taxi area for the event. Customers will be required to show an event ticket and confirmation email to gain access as the road is closed to all other vehicles. Please follow directions below for the correct access points and accessible route to the platform.

  • Glasgow Airport on M8 heading eastward to Glasgow At Junction 24 exit toward Govan/M77

  • At traffic lights turn left onto Mosspark Boulevard (local access road closure) – park/drop off as directed.

From the East

  • Edinburgh on M8 heading westward to Glasgow Airport At Junction 24 exit toward Govan
  • Turn Left onto Helen Street
  • At the roundabout take second exit onto Paisley Road West (A761) After some 500metres turn left onto Bellahouston Drive
  • At traffic lights turn left onto Mosspark Boulevard (local access road closure) – park/drop off as directed

From the North

  • Stirling on M80 merge onto M8 heading southward toward Glasgow Airport At Junction 24 exit toward Govan
  • Turn Left onto Helen Street
  • At the roundabout take second exit onto Paisley Road West (A761) After some 500metres turn left onto Bellahouston Drive
  • At traffic lights turn left onto Mosspark Boulevard (local access road closure) – park/drop off as directed

From the South

  • Carlisle on M74 heading northward to Glasgow Merge onto M8 heading toward Glasgow Airport At Junction 24 exit toward Govan
  • Turn Left onto Helen Street
  • At the roundabout take second exit onto Paisley Road West (A761) After some 500metres turn left onto Bellahouston Drive
  • At traffic lights turn left onto Mosspark Boulevard (local access road closure) – park/drop off as directed

RAIL

Services between Glasgow Central and Paisley Canal are likely to be very busy people travelling to and from the music event at Bellahouston Park.

Buses will replace trains between Glasgow Central and Paisley Canal from 10pm, calling at all stations. Ayrshire and Wemyss Bay services are also expected to be very busy on Saturday evening.

Corkerhill and Cardonald Stations are also within walking distance.

All rail stations are serviced from Glasgow Central Station.

Customers should:

  • Be aware that there will be a queuing system in place at rail stations,
  • purchase tickets in advance
  • return to the station as soon as possible following the event.

Due to the queuing system that will be in place, customers will also need to consider connections for onward travel when planning journeys.

BUSES

Bus numbers 9, 9A, 10 (First) and 38 (McGills) all drop off/pick up from Paisley Road West to the north of Bellahouston Park. The journey to the City Centre is 22mins. The last bus is scheduled for 00.25.

UNDERGROUND

The nearest Subway station to the venue is serviced by Ibrox Station which is a 15 minute walk to/from the concert. The last train will run at approximately 23.15 on both days.

PRIVATE COACHES

Chartered coaches have been contacted and directed to a designated on street parking area off Broomloan Road north of Ibrox Stadium on Aldo Drive, Hinshelwood Drive and Skene Road. This location will be covered by a road closure under a Temporary Traffic Restriction Order (TTRO)

Citylink coaches (intercity service) will also be directed to those areas

TAXIS

Glasgow TOA has been alerted to the concerts and their pick up point will be shared within the private coaches within the previously mentioned closure on Skene Road.
